Le Désert de Platé marks the beginning of numerous hiking and biking trails, including the GR 96. Take your time and enjoy the 200 km of prepared routes, alone or with a guided-themed outing. As you discover the Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and Passy nature reserves, you'll come across an abundance of flora and fauna, such as ibex, marmots, jackdaws, bluebells, wild rhododendrons, and génépi. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

The northern French Alps is an ideal location for golf enthusiasts who relish the mountainous terrain. One such place is Flaine, where you can enjoy an 18-hole course and a practice area with picturesque views of Mont-Blanc. The golf course is open from June to September, allowing you to swing amidst a breathtaking panoramic view of some of the most spectacular mountain ranges. The Flaine - Les Carroz golf course is one of the highest in Europe, situated at an altitude between 1,833 m (6,014 ft) and 1,953 m (6,407 ft). During summer, the temperature ranges between 20°C and 25°C, providing ideal conditions for playing golf while enjoying the magnificent surrounding countryside. The course was designed by Robert Berthet and is a Par 63 course, measuring 3,555 m (11,663 ft) in length. Despite being fairly steep, it is suitable for all skill levels, and electric carts are allowed.
